I was a Firefighter/EMT for 22 years in Florida.  I worked as a Firefighter for 9 yrs and a Driver Engineer for 13.  I was one of the first of 3 females that had the pleasure of paving the way for other females in this very difficult profession.  I enjoyed every minute and it has made me the "Tough Cookie" that I am today.  I have been retired from the Fire Department for 14 years now, and love to keep busy. My husband Eddie has been supportive throughout my careers.  They say "when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life"..... that holds true for me.  I have had many jobs in my life and I have enjoyed each one of them.  I started in the workforce when I was 15 and haven't stopped.
